The Hencoski Team

From the time they married in 1980, Joe and Becky Hencoski have been a team. Becky has been a resident of Pinellas County since 1959, and Joe moved to the area in 1978. Their real estate experience started with the purchase of their first home in 1981 and expanded when they began investing in properties in 1997.

They have been licensed real estate agents since 2001 and their backgrounds in Applications Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Advertising bring a range of talents to their real estate work. Having bought and sold over 25 investment homes, has allowed them to develop a keen knowledge of the Pinellas housing market.

Their most recent personal accomplishment includes what is referred to as a “Thru-Hike” of the Appalachian Trail (AT) – this means they hiked the 2,174 mile wilderness trail in one season. Fifteen hundred to two thousand brave souls attempt this challenge each year, but only about 20 percent actually realize their goal. The AT traverses 14 states, beginning at Springer Mountain, Georgia and ending at Mt. Katahdin, Maine. Their journey started on March 13, 2007 and they accomplished their goal on September 20, 2007 when they climbed to the summit of Mt. Katahdin. It took nineteen months of planning and 192 days of hiking, plus overcoming many obstacles and challenges along their journey.
